NCT/CVRT Preparation – Roscommon

Your NCT or CVRT checks that your vehicle meets all the safety and environmental standards that are required for it to be on the road.

Cars that are 4 years or older need to pass the NCT (National Car Test) every 2 years, and once they’re over 10 years old, every year. Commercial vehicles and motorhomes need to pass the CVRT (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test) every year.

At Blueprint Autos, we offer a series of pre-NCT/CVRT checks at our workshop in Roscommon, to make sure that your vehicle is test-ready so that it passes first time. With up to 40% of cars failing the test, it makes sense to bring your car or van to our team so that we can do some basic checks and any repairs that might be needed to avoid failing and having to have a retest – saving you time and money.

Although the NCT or CVRT shows that your can or van is roadworthy, you still need to have your vehicle serviced regularly to reduce the risk of breakdowns and to maintain decent fuel economy, which is something that we can do for you here at Blueprint Autos.
